SIP AND TASTE YOUR WAY ON DATE NIGHT THROUGH MT WASHINGTON VALLEY, NH
February is for lovers, and Mt Washington Valley offers up plenty of opportunities for delicious date nights to celebrate romance in and around Valentine’s Day.
North Conway, NH – If the way to romance is through the stomach, then Mt Washington Valley, NH is the place to enjoy Date Nights throughout February. Why celebrate romance on just Valentine’s Day when opportunities to sip and taste throughout the Valley with the one you love are on the calendar throughout the month of February. Combine tastings with skiing, painting, and train rides. Where else can you love the one you’re with and get your fill of fine food and drink too?
Here are five ways to taste, sip, recreate and love all at once in Mt Washington Valley.
February 14: Cupid’s Express Dinner Train
Invite the one you love to step back in time and find romance on the rails. Dining on the rails is a tradition dating back to the mid-to-late 19th Century, when railroads across the country began offering meal service as an alternative to the roadhouses that were located at their water stops. As competition among the railroads increased, dining car service was taken to new levels, and today a fascination with this tradition continues on the Conway Scenic Railroad with the Cupid’s Express Dinner Train. Enjoy a delicious three-course meal, made to order on board. Private tables accommodate two or four people, ages 21 + only during two rides at 5:30 and 7:30pm. Reservations are required. The $70 fare includes First Class seating, a three-course dinner, and 9-percent NH Rooms & Meals Tax. Meal gratuities, beveragesand beverage taxes and gratuities are additional. February 15: Sip & Paint with the one you love at Tuckerman Brewing
Combine two things you love – a painting class and a beer tasting room – with the one you love. Add in locally brewed Tuckerman beer, and you have the perfect date night. Enjoy Paint and Sip Night with Doodlin' Di – in the Tasting Room at Tuckerman Brewing on February 15th from 6:30-8:30pm. It’s $50 per person including supplies, prizes and raffles. Beer tastings in addition. Proceeds go to Kevin Pierce Memorial Skate Park. For more info and other Tuckerman Tasting Room events, click here.
February 16: 10th Annual Cupcake Battle
The 10th annual Cupcake Battle, a fund-raising event for Mount Washington Valley Promotions, will take place at the North Conway Community Center from 1:00-3:30pm when bakers will square off in four categories (professional, home, teen and child) with a winner selected in each division. Not only are these cupcakes delicious, but they’re works of art to be enjoyed with your sweetie who loves sweets. The $12 tickets entitles tasters to sample one cupcake from each baker and to cast a vote for their favorite in each of the categories. Tickets may be purchased from the bakers or from Lisa DuFault by calling (603) 374-6241 or email@example.com. This event always sells out so don’t wait to get your tickets.
