Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of New Hampshire  provides a voice for abused and neglected children and youth by empowering a statewide network of trained volunteers to advocate on their behalf so they can thrive in safe, permanent homes. As part of the national nonprofit organization National CASA (NCASAA), we envision a world in which all children are safe, nurtured and living in permanent homes.

CASA of New Hampshire is hiring a North Country Outreach Coordinator to support recruitment and screening of CASA volunteers and public awareness of the organization in Belknap, Carroll, Coos and Grafton counties. The position requires someone with a strong familiarity of the northern regions of the states and prior experience working in rural communities. The position is based out of our Berlin and/or Colebrook offices.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: assisting in the ongoing development and implementation of CASA’s volunteer recruitment plan; conducting screening and interviews of prospective volunteers; assisting in scheduling of regional trainings; maintaining data in volunteer database; helping to schedule and participating in speaking engagements; assisting in outreach through traditional and social media channels; and cultivating relationships with community and civic organizations to aid recruitment and awareness.

The successful candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree and have prior experience in marketing or public relations or in recruitment/management of adult volunteers.

This can be a full-time job for one candidate, or a part-time job for two candidates who will split the region. Interested applicants should submit their resumes, cover letter and salary requirements to Marty Sink at no later than Sunday, Dec. 15. A full job description can be found at
