White Mountain Nordic Centers

Explore over 400 km of combined cross country trails at six area Nordic Centers within thirty minutes of North Conway.

Nearly 300 km of trails groomed for classical or skate skiing with unlimited back country skiing. Explore the scenic trails through the woods, along the rivers, around the lakes and through Jackson's covered bridge.

Each area offers rentals and lessons. Most offer guided snowshoe tours by day or the light of the moon. Many open all or some of their trails to well behaved dogs. Fat Tire Bike riders are welcomed at either Great Glen Trails or Mt. Washington Valley Ski Touring & Snowshoe Center. Be sure to check with each area about any restrictions that may apply.

These areas host some of the area's most popular winter events including the Jackson's Freeman Frost White Mountain 30K, North America's Toughest 10K at Great Glen Trails and Mt. Washington Valley's Ski Touring Whitaker Woods Snowshoe Scramble and their Annual Inn-to-Inn Chocolate Festival
