Welcome to the Gorham Farmers' Market

A weekly event for the community to gather with with live music, family activities, good food and great vendors!

Featuring a variety of local vendors selling fresh and organic produce, fruits, meats, baked goods, pastries, eggs, jams / jellies, preserves, goat dairy products, coffee, cheeses, honey products, maple products, local authors, handcrafted items such as; leather goods, soaps, dog treats, sewn / crochet items, wood turned kitchen items, prepared food including; Thai food, meatball / pork / beef sandwiches and chicken wings, homemade sauces, lemonade, teas, wild forged items; mushrooms, chaga, fiddleheads, local author novels, and much more!

From the front-lines at Standing Rock to the archaic streets of Jerusalem, the Sahel Desert to Carnegie Hall, music has been the source of strength for Billy Wylder. The band features Avi Salloway (Bombino/Hey Mama/Avi & Celia) joined by an inspired cast of singular artists who have performed across five continents including concerts at the Coachella Music & Arts Festival, Newport Folk Festival, New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, Montreal Jazz Fest, Carnegie Hall, and Lincoln Center.
 
The music weaves together American folk and rock with sensibilities from the Sahara Desert, exploring new musical space akin to Devendra Banhart, Beck, and Tinariwen.

Beacon Brass Quartet

Cranmore Mountain Resort


White Mountain Musical Arts is pleased to announce the  first concert of the season featuring the award winning, Boston based Beacon Brass Quintet. This features North Conway resident Dana Russian.  The performance will be held outdoors at the base of Cranmore Mountain on August 19, 2021 at 7:00 p.m., rain or shine.  Bring a picnic and outdoor chair or blanket, and enjoy the music of this fabulous group. 
 

Acclaimed in Bostonia Magazine as "one of the nation's finest chamber ensembles," the Beacon Brass Quintet was the first brass ensemble ever to win the distinguished Concert Artists Guild Award in 1983.  Beacon Brass has performed in concert throughout the United States, on radio and television, including having recorded the theme music for "The Advocates" for PBS.  In addition to concert venues, Beacon Brass has been featured at prestigious special events including a Carnegie Hall recital, the opening ceremonies of the John F. Kennedy Library and the centennial dinner for members of the Boston Symphony Orchestra.
 
The Beacon Brass Quintet is noted for their expertise across a wide spectrum of music, having presented nine world premiere performances and commissioned several new works including Scott Wheeler's Brass Quintet.  In recent years, Beacon Brass has performed in informal lecture/recitals with famed Boston Pops conductor, Keith Lockhart.
