This event is free and open to all! May Faire is an ancient festival welcoming spring brought to you by the White Mountain Waldorf School. The decorated May Pole will be raised at 10:00 am, and the dancing and singing will begin. Children can make and wear floral wreaths and celebrate the arrival of spring with a barbecue, live music, unique children's crafts, face painting, hair wraps and a plant sale. Come help us wake up Mother Earth!
Look for puppet shows at our on-campus events and at your local libraries.
The puppet show story is shared utilizing simple silk marionette puppets, handmade by the teachers against a backdrop of colored silks representing the scene.
Among the many riches Waldorf education has to offer the larger community is this unique form of puppetry work presented in the Early Childhood program. From uncomplicated seasonal tales to involved, multilayered fairy tales, these stories, presented in this distinctive way, nurture the young (and not-so-young) person’s imaginative life in a healthy way, working as an anecdote to the stressful effects of modern life. If you've never experienced the magic of a Waldorf Puppet Show, you won't want to miss it! Our Early Childhood Teachers bring these beautiful, heart-warming shows to life. Puppetry imbues the imagination and fantasy, and is a loving way of communicating values, principles, and challenges.

A choice in education ensures that families have an opportunity to choose a quality-learning environment that best serves the needs of their children.
