The Conway Area Humane Society
223 East Main Street
Committed to the Human-Animal Bond
- Encouraging it through education and animal adoption.
- Protecting it when threatened by violence, disaster, or medical emergency.
- Respecting it when broken by death.
The Conway Area Humane Society opened its doors to phase one, The Judith and Scott Paul Cat Adoption center, in June of 2003. The project continued with the construction of the dog facility and the learning center '03-04. In November, 2009 CAHS affiliated with The Animal Rescue League of NH-North in Bedford, NH. The 3-year affiliation allowed the Conway shelter to gain stability and keep the doors open. In December, 2012 the affiliation ended and the shelter once again became the Conway Area Humane Society. We are a non-profit animal shelter offering adoption services, animal rescue, a membership dog park and a resale shop in the Mt. Washington Valley.
