Mount Washington Valley Old Car Club

The club began in 1987 with three families, when they discovered that the only way to obtain suitable  insurance for their special interest cars was to belong to a car club. Since none existed in the mount Washington Valley area, they started one. From that resourceful group of Bob Holmes, Joe Sullivan and John and Kitty Whitesides, the club grew slowly at first. But in 1988 the club made a conscious effort to expand it's membership to others with an interest in old cars, trucks, hot rods, muscle cars, customs, classics, and motorcycles.

All the money we raised on our cruise nights and our annual car shows and memberships go to the scholarship fund. They are made to recipients from Fryeburg Academy area and Kennett High School. Seeking college or at least one year of post high school technical education in related fields of automotive, and automotive engineering.

To date the club has over 200 members and still growing. There are a lot more families today getting into the days of yesterday!!! It is a great group and a lot of fun, please join us and have a ball. It is very easy to become a member.
