General Information:King Pine Ski Area at Purity Spring Resort heads into the 2006/07 season with big improvements and added value for guests. This family-oriented ski resort, located in New Hampshire’s White Mountains, is just 15 minutes south of North Conway. At the top of the list of improvements is a new triple chairlift that replaces the old Hall double chairlift, giving King Pine a total of three triple chairlifts. By increasing uphill capacity, skiers and riders will enjoy more time on the slopes, and more time to show off their skills on the new black diamond trail located directly below the new lift. The new trail, which will get its name from an online “name-the-trail” contest, will give thrill-seekers an additional 4 acres of advanced terrain. To continue its dedication to quality snow and grooming, King Pine has also added a new, $1/4 million Prinoth BR 350 Snowgroomer. The groomer will also play a major role in improving the newly-named “Twisted Pine Terrain Park”, which will receive numerous upgrades and improvements.
