General Information:Starr is an enthusiastic life-long knitting teacher who has found a new passion as a quilter. Her grandfather, father and sister are artists whose encouragement and inspiration have contributed to her designs.STARR JORDAN ORIGINALS is a home based quilting studio in Center Conway, NH. Starr uses quality quilting fabric and supplies that she finds locally and nationally. Her quilts now reside in NYC, Washington DC, California, Texas, as well as many New England homes. Saima Davis, of The Attic Cat in Effingham, NH., (The Attic Cat) machine quilts the finished pieces for Starr. Starr Jordan Moore is a locally juried member of the League of New Hampshire Craftsmen, White Mountain Artisans Gallery in North Conway, NH., Bridgton Art Guild, Bridgton, and Society for East End Arts (SEA), Portland, Maine. She is an exhibitor at the Chickadee Quilt Show, Art in The Park in Bridgton and the Arts and Artisans Fair in Lovell, all in Maine. Her quilts are prize winners at the Fryeburg Fair. She is one of 30+ members of The Material Girls, who volunteer their time and talents quilting for charity through Carroll County RSVP. A visitor to the Valley since 1948, she grew up skiing at Whitney's on the Shovel Handle Lift. Now a retired Technical Delegate with the International Ski Federation (FIS), she lives in the Valley with her companions, two Ragdoll Cats. It is wonderful place to reside. Directions:My quilts are on display at the White Mountaing Artisans Gallery in North Conway at the Red Carriage Commons, 3358 White Mountain Highway. The Commons is a completely renovated carriage barn, circa 1878, which houses the gallery and Northern Lights Restaurant. The Gallery supports and exhibits more than 60 artisans in its 7500 square feet of intriguing display. Touring the Gallery is fun for the whole family.
