August 16, 6-8pm Live Auction & Reception at Cranmore Mountain Resort with music, and heavy hors d'oeuvres. $25.pp Drawing on the “wet paint” event tradition, artists and photographers are invited to create new works of art that capture the views and scenery of the Mount Washington Valley region that the White Mountain School of Art members painted during the late 1800’s and early 1900’s.

General Information: The Mount Washington Valley Arts Association is an independent, community focused, non-profit organization which exists to promote the study, appreciation and display of the visual arts, particularly the art of the Mt. Washington Valley Region. ACTIVITIES: August 9-16, "FRESH PAINT" EVENT - Historic Views, New Perspectives. Plus several Fine Art Shows throughout the year: Holiday Art Show in December, Winter Art Show in February, and the Fall Show at the Salyards Center for the Arts. Also sponsor workshops, Art Around Town (exhibits in area businesses), Friday Painters Group-June to October (open to all, check local papers for schedule) MEMBERSHIPS: Individuals $30 per year; Business Sponsor $100; Patron $50.
