General Information:Award winning artist and professional framer Marty Sage Gilman, is a visual realist. Her technically precise works, patiently rendered in detail, set a mood which invites emotional involvement of the viewer. Quietly haunting images gathered from travels are interpreted in naturally occurring compositions with luminous color. As a gallery and studio owner, she exhibits in a variety of media including photography, colored pencils, and oils, but watercolor and acrylic allow her the challenge of expression with versatility. Vibrant coastal, mountain, and railroad paintings are her current interest. Marty Sage Gilman is a juried member of the New Hampshire Art Association since 1987, and has been accepted as a Life Member of the National Registry of Who's Who published in the 2001 edition.
